Despite the recent calamities that displaced Bagakay Elementary School, learning continues as the Department of Education (DepEd) turned over EdukAhon kits to support the 249 learners currently attending classes in a temporary learning space at the barangay covered court.
Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Joseph Irwin A. Lagura emphasized that education must never stop, affirming that โeverywhere, children should be able to read.โ He also expressed his gratitude to the Barangay Captain for the unwavering support extended to the school, ensuring that teaching and learning continue despite the challenges.
Driven by their commitment to every learner, the teachers of Bagakay Elementary School continue to deliver quality instruction with resilience and dedication. In turn, the barangay captain thanked DepEd for its timely assistance, underscoring the strong partnership between the community and the education sector in safeguarding every child’s right to quality education.
